Proper Undergarments are Key!

Have I mentioned that I just love Nordstrom? Every time I go there, I swear I learn something new.

Yesterday, I went off in search of the new Bra-llelujah bra by Spanx. Unfortunately, they didn't have any in stock, but the sales associate offered to fit me after eyeballing my size and telling me that she didn't think I had the right size bra on. I felt pretty comfortable with my lingerie knowledge, so I took her up on the challenge.

Turns out, I was off. WAY off. I was seriously perplexed. I mean, I had followed all the instructions on measuring and dutifully wrote everything down the last time I went bra shopping. My band size was too big, and my cup size was too small. I had it all backwards, and let me tell you, the rumors are true: there is nothing better than a well fit bra. NOTHING.

So, in the spirit of finally having three new bras that fit the way they should, I'm sharing with you Nordstrom's bra fitting tips. But, please. Don't try and do it yourself - go in there and they will be more than happy to give you a proper fitting. You don't even have to buy anything, although the last bra I tried on was so fabulous, I didn't take it off. I just pulled the tag off and handed it to her. Then I went and shopped the sleepwear clearance rack.

And PS: Chantelle might just make the best bras ever. Just so you know.

I completely agree with you about bra size! I think I may need to get re-fitted. I keep bouncing back and forth between band sizes.
