So much for my idea of having one signature scent for the summer. I should have known that it wasn't going to work out.
A quick trip up to Tyson's Galleria put me right in front of Saks. So, naturally, I headed over to the Bond counter to smell the new Union Square (very floral, not for me). However, the lovely SA suggested that I try Fire Island after I explained what I was looking out for this season.
Oh my. It was love at first smell. Bond says that it is the captured scent of bronzing bodies. I don't know about all of that, but the listed notes are cardamom, neroli, white musk, tuberose, and patchouli. Other sites list ozone as well, although I'm not sure I smell it. It could just be too faint for me.
I've also seen it mentioned as both a men's fragrance and a unisex fragrance, so I might get the husband to try it out as well, although I don't think he will like it at all. I personally love it, and now I'm going to spend the summer torn between my Monyette Paris and Fire Island.

Ok...hello...I love The Galleria! And the Saks there is my favorite store there! I have yet to buy a Bond scent yet, so I'll have to head over there and check them out.

Hi, Jennifer! I love The Galleria too, although I normally end up spending the majority of my time over at Tyson's Corner. I've been missing out! Definitely go check out the Bond counter - they really are amazing, unique scents that most people just don't know about. Thanks for reading!
