Don't You Hate It When They Discontinue Your Favorite Beauty Products?

It never fails - I find a product that I like, especially in a drugstore, and when I go back to repurchase I find that it's been long since discontinued.

Revlon did a line about two years ago that I loved, and this Midnight Swirl Lip Lustre was part of it. I went through three tubes of Reddish Fetish and would have continued to buy if I could have found it anywhere.

But guess what? There are places online that stock discontinued products and sell them for cheap! I found my Lip Lustre (and quite a bit of the rest of the line, all of which I loved) at CosmeticsandMore.com. I also found the Skin Lights line of makeup, which I also loved and was destroyed when it was discontinued. And the price is right.

Looking for more higher end stuff? Try Makeup.com's Discount section for MAC, Besame, and Elizabeth Arden.

Discontinued hair products can be found at DiscontinuedBeauty.com. That's where I'd pick up my favorite Sebastian products. Still love them.

Lastly, check your favorite brand's site. Many of them have a special section for discontinued products at great prices.

The Maxi Dress Trend: Are You In?

Once again, maxi dresses are the season's hot trends. You can't go into any store without seeing a good collection of them.

I'm conflicted about them. I want to love them, and they look amazingly comfortable, but I'm not sure that they really do anything for me.

Get ready to see a lot of them, though. They were all over the runways for the spring and resort collections, and Old Navy has them on sale right now for $20.

What say you? Will you be rocking the maxi dress trend this spring and summer?

Here are a few great articles on the maxi:

Loomstate Collection for Target Lookbook

Fashionista has the new Loomstate for Target collection lookbook. I'm not really overly excited (which means I'm really "meh" about it), but something that is new is that they are including a collection for the mens.

I think this is going to appeal to the 20's beachy crowd, which makes it a nice collection for summer. What do you think?

Product Review: Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist

I have been traveling a lot lately. It's been great fun and I love it, but it always seems to take a toll on my skin. Even though I consider my skin exceptionally oily, a few hours spent on an airplane can dry it up like crazy.

When I had an opportunity to try the Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist, I jumped on it. I figured it could tuck the little bottle into my carry-on and use it if my skin started acting funny.

Sure enough, one flight in, my skin felt dull and dry. A quick spray of the Jurlique gave it instant moisture, but not so much that it felt overly moist or greasy.

Would I purchase it? Absolutely. I don't plan to be without it the next time I'm on a plane.

From $21 at Jurlique.com. Also at Sephora.
