Next Up at Target: Jonathan Saunders

Scottish born designer Jonathan Saunders is next up for Target's Go International collection, and will be available in most stores by 10/5/08.

I'll say it before, and I'll say it again: I love the idea of affordable fashion, but it just doesn't seem to translate into quality pieces that are worth keeping. I just hate to see designers produce "throw away" fashion.

The only exception to this is my Erin Featherston for Target winter white coat, of course. But I can say that it is the only Go International piece that I have ever purchased. I always check them out, but just don't seem to find anything that looks like it will last.

Target's Next Collaboration is Jonathan Saunders

The Cut has some images of the next Go International collection by Jonathan Saunders from Target. With the exception of my Erin Featherstone coat last winter, I'm usually disappointed with these capsules. I see some promise with the cobalt tunic, though. It might be worth a closer look. Do you have luck with Target's Go International line?

Shopping the Jovovich-Hawk Collection at Target

I think I can sum it up in one word: unsatisfying. Perhaps these collections are just too young for me, but this retro-70's look just isn't my cup of tea. I did find exactly one blouse that I want to at least see in person, though:
I'm so disappointed. I always have such high hopes for these collections and never seem to find anything that I want. But go check it out for yourself, you never know! Go International Collection by Jovovich-Hawk
