Download Let's Get It On for Free on V-Day

Who doesn't need a little Marvin Gaye in their life? Honestly. Don't forget to download!

Lazy Sunday Music: Heartless by Kanye

I don't even have to type "Kanye West" anymore, do I? If you just say "Kanye," everyone knows exactly who you're talking about. I don't know how he would feel about it, though. One wonders if it would irritate him enough to throw a shoe at you and say, "It's Mr. West, damn it!"

Anyway, love the video, but then again, I love all of his videos. You can grab it from Kanye West - 808s & Heartbreak (Bonus Video Version) - Heartless.

Lazy Sunday Music: Adele

I'm just loving Adele's sound lately. I'm on a bit of a soul/jazz/downtempo kick, and this entire album keeps popping up in my iTunes.

You can grab it at ADELE - 19 too.

Lazy Sunday Music: Sleeping Satellite by Tasmin Archer

I just heard this song for the first time in ages on internet radio. I promptly got into a discussion with some co-workers about what it was originally about, and none of us really knew, so it prompted a trip to the song's Wiki page (yes, they have a Wiki about everything now). Apparently it was written in the early 80's about our space exploration (or lack thereof). Interesting, no?

Then, of course, I went and downloaded it, and listened to it a million times. It's really quite haunting.

Grab it at Tasmin Archer - Great Expectations - Sleeping Satellite.

Lazy Sunday Music: Snake in the Grass by Vallejo

Is anyone else watching True Blood on HBO? I wasn't planning on paying any attention to it until one of the girls at work went on and on about how GOOD it was. So I decided I'd watch one episode On Demand, and surprise! I'm totally hooked. And I'm so not a vampire person. At all.

However, one of the best things about this series, in my opinion, is the music that they have chosen. My current obsession is this one, by Vallejo. The video below is a True Blood montage, and quite well done. If HBO would just put out a soundtrack, I'd be thrilled.

Pick it up at Vallejo - Leftovers - Snake In the Grass (Original Rock Mix).

Need Some Halloween Jams for Your Costume Party?

There is talk in the air among my friends about a costume party. I'm not too sure about all of that, but I was browsing around today for some funny music, and thought that I needed to share this goodness with all of you. Who knew there was Jewish Halloween music?

Lazy Sunday Music: John Legend ft. Andre 3000: Green Light

Love this song terribly, and not just because my boy Andre 3000 is in it (have you checked out his new fashion line? Thoughts?). I don't really know why I'm so into it, as I've never been a John Legend fan, but count me in among the faithful now. This one burrowed itself into my brain and won't get out.

You can always grab it from John Legend - Green Light (feat. Andre 3000) - Single - Green Light (feat. Andre 3000) or Amazon.

Lazy Sunday Music: Britney Spears New Single Leaked

I'm going to give it a big "no." But what do you think? Early buzz has been good. I'm just...ugh. Not impressed.

Lazy Sunday Music: Another Way to Die

I can't decide if I'm really into the Jack White/Alicia Keys collaboration for the new Bond movie, or if it is a huge miss. I'm a fan of both, but I'm not sure they mesh well. Listen to it here, and tell me what you think.

Solange - Sandcastle Disco

I know Solange is constantly accused of fashion fouls, but I think she looks fabulous here. Of course, she's wearing my favorite color at the beginning, so that might help. I've been listening to her quite a bit lately. Grab the single at Solange - Sol-Angel & the Hadley St. Dreams - Sandcastle Disco.

Kanye West Shows Off His Style Again With Good Morning

I think Kanye West has amazing style. Well, except for those white venetian-style glasses, I'll never understand those. Here is his latest video, which is a collaboration with Japanese amine artist Takashi Murakami.

The entire Graduation album is worth having, and you can grab it at Kanye West - Graduation - Good Morning.

Pink's New So What Video Is Funny and Kind of Sad

Everyone's talking about this one, especially since Corey Hart is in her video, which makes it both kind of sad and weird at the same time. Those two crazy kids. It's a catchy song, though.

Grab it at P!nk - So What - Single - So What.

Sunday Afternoon Music: Just Dance by Lady Gaga

I swear, this song makes me think of every NYC trip I've ever taken and what usually happens around 3 AM.

Grab it at Lady GaGa - Just Dance (Remixes) - EP - Just Dance. Thanks to Sarah at StyleIt for turning me on to Lady Gaga! You're the best!

My girl Rhianna always looks incredible. Check out her makeup in the new video "Disturbia." You can always grab the song at Rihanna - Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded - Disturbia if it moves you.

Sunday Afternoon Music: More Madonna

You can also grab it at Madonna - Hard Candy (Deluxe Version) - Beat Goes On (feat. Kanye West).

Katy Perry - I Kissed a Girl

I'm officially declaring this the summer jam of 2008. Everyone is listening to it, and it won't get off my radio. Katy Perry is cute, though.

If you don't have it already, grab it at Katy Perry - I Kissed a Girl - Single - I Kissed a Girl. Although, really, you should invest in the entire album - I think there are some great songs on there that aren't completely overplayed.

The Pussycat Dolls - When I Grow Up

Another one of those "it's stuck in your head and you can't get it out songs." I know they look like trannies, but they certainly can dance. Too bad Nicole Whats-Her-Name didn't have much of a solo career. Grab it at The Pussycat Dolls - When I Grow Up - Single - When I Grow Up and put it on your new iPhone.

Gavin Rossdale - Love Remains The Same

There is entirely too much hotness in this video. Grab it on Gavin Rossdale - Wanderlust - Love Remains the Same, because it's worth having.

Song That Won't Leave My Head: Danity Kane - Damaged

Jesus. I hear this song about three times a day, and while I do think it's catchy, is there a way to get it out of my head? Any and all suggestions are much appreciated. KTHXBAI.

And if you're feeling the need to have it in your head, grab it from Danity Kane - Welcome to the Dollhouse - Damaged

Journey-Don't Stop Believin'

I went out on Friday night to celebrate a girlfriend's birthday. Suffice it to say, it wasn't a 21st birthday - we are all far older than that. We went to two different clubs, and I heard this song TWICE. Twice! As much as I love Journey (and I grew up in the 80s - I had every Journey cassette that ever existed plus a few bootlegs), it kind of freaks me out to see the Millennial Generation get so freaking excited and belt out the lyrics to an old Gen X tune. Can someone explain this phenomenon? And does it really fit in the set inbetween Lil Jon (Get Low) and PCD (Don't Cha)?

If you want to get on board this bandwagon or just need a bit of nostalgia in your life, grab this classic (and a must-own, really) at Journey - Journey: Greatest Hits - Don't Stop Believin'
