I've been trying to figure out what to serve as a cocktail for Thanksgiving dinner. I'm in charge of the stuffing, the gravy, and the cocktails, just like every year. This time I wanted to do something just a bit retro, and I couldn't help but think of a good, old-fashioned champagne cocktail.
Poinsetta
1/2 oz triple sec
3 oz cranberry juice
Champagne
Add triple sec and cranberry juice to champagne flute. Add champagne to fill. Garnish with a cranberry and orange twist.
Hollow stem champagne flute, $99 for a set of four, Barware.com.
