Product Review: Fresh Lotus Eye Gel

While it's called a gel, Fresh Lotus Eye Gel really isn't. It's more like a light lotion that goes on very smoothly and feels quite light.

I've long since given up on anything that claims to solve my undereye problems. I don't really look for a quick fix for my undereye circles or the puffiness that I always seem to have. So while all of these are claimed, I don't really pay much attention to it. I'm always looking for a good undereye moisturizer that isn't overly heavy, and this one fits the bill nicely.

As a bonus, it did seem to help those "signs of fatigue" that I was experiencing. I credit my concealer with helping with the dark circles, but I will give credit where it's due with the puffiness - it really did seem to help, quite a bit actually.

It has a nice scent of cucumbers, and you'll probably like it quit a bit. However, it is a bit of the pricey side: about $48 for 1.5 mL.

Definitely a splurge for some high end skin care.

Over at Beautiful! Fabulous!: What's Up With White Concealer?

My weekly article is up over at Beautiful! Fabulous! and I'm exploring just what exactly white concealer is, and why you're seeing more of it out there. Go check it out!

It's Here: Pixi at Target

I am so excited about the new cosmetics collections at Target! While I was in there yesterday (and managed to get out of there spending less than $100 which is highly unusual) I managed to grab Pixi Eye Bright Makeup Kit. I've swatched it here so you can see what a nicely pigmented coverup kit it is.

I'm not giving it enough credit if I say it's just a cover up kit, though. There is a highlighter in here as well, and it's gorgeous. A perfect sheer neutral with just a hint of glimmer. There is a white cream that I wouldn't recommend to just anyone - make sure you know what you're doing with that as the results could be truly awful, and two basic fair shades for each season of use.

Handy!

Pixi Eye Bright Makeup Kit is only available at Target for $24.
