I'm a sucker for all things Michael Kors. I can't help it - he's just too fabulous for me. And now he's inserted himself into the world of makeup, courtesy of Estee Lauder. This collection is exactly what I would expect from Mr. Kors, although I had figured it would include more gold.
At any rate, the Very Hollywood collection came to be due to the longstanding friendship between the noted American designer and Aerin Lauder, the Senior Vice President and Creative Director at Estee Lauder. The group of products is obviously limited edition, and won't be around long.
The first look is Bel Air Beige, which combines a classic smoky eye with shimmering peachy lips and cheeks.
The second look is Rodeo Pink, and features a raspberry toned cheek and lip, with a defined eye.
Along with both the color stories seen here, there are three additional products that can be used with either palette, such as the Estee Lauder Michael Kors Very Hollywood Shimmering Loose Powder which creates a dewy and luminous glow; and the Estee Lauder Michael Kors Very Hollywood Lip Sheen SPF 15 and Lip Gloss in Hollywood Glow. Wear the two together for golden sun-protected lips, or each on their own.
The limited edition Very Hollywood will be at select Estee Lauder counters nationwide and available at EsteeLauder.com as well.
